Textures are jute, sisal, twine, wood, vegetable tanned leather and brightly colored fabric assembled on a ring with liberty bell and swivel/ quicklink or pearlink. Hard ware, i.e. rings, bells and links, are appropriate for each toy size. Fabric colors and wood pieces vary. The limestone is a natural alternative to lava rock. No less than 95% calcium carbonate and tested safe, the Texas Hill Country limestone gives a healthy chew. Polly Dolly products are sold with UPC, informational tag labels. Read your labels. We use no dyes or artificial coloring or flavoring on our wood, textures or leather.

All textures are soaked and washed to remove toxins. We use a solution specifically formulated to remove soil and chemical residue. The fabric is washed in HOT water to remove dye and sizing residue. Everything is rinsed well and air-dried.

You know your bird. Some are fearful of unfamiliar things. We recommend that our customers introduce the Polly Dolly slowly and with supervision. Textures, i.e. jute and sisal, can be cut off or knotted up to further your bird's interest and/ or safety. Always keep frayed toys trimmed. And keep your bird's toenails trimmed.
